All kinds of conditions are encountered in modern industrial plants. Often the environment is harsh, with dirt, vibrations and other side effects of industrial processes posing a serious risk to sensitive power, data and control cables. The BKRS system provides protection as well as a safe, enclosed installation space for cables.
EMC-tested
Through the use of a barrier strip, power, control and data cables are insulated according to DIN EN 50174, to ensure electromagnetic compatibility. The trays and covers themselves provide perfect all-round protection for the cables.

Dust protection
OBO is the only provider in the market to offer special dust protection elements for cover joints. They are mounted between the cable tray and cover, meaning they do not impair the anti-slip properties of the BKRS cover. By closing the gap between two adjacent covers, they protect the inside of the cable trays reliably from foreign objects, dust, dirt and sweat. With variable settings, the protective elements are suitable for any application. Protection is extended even in mitred covers (1–90°).
