Small and discreet – the UDHOME2 from OBO Bettermann sets new standards

The compact external dimensions of 140 x 140 mm mean that the new UDHOME2 floor socket from OBO Bettermann can be used anywhere. At the same time, the slender cover edges fit perfectly into the overall room design. An extra contribution is made by the hinged cover with floor covering recess. The floor covering of the room (such as stone, tiles, plastic or wood) can be integrated easily in the cover. In a further version, the hinged cover is also available with a fine stainless steel decorative plate.

With the UDHOME, the cables are run out via a cord outlet. This is available in two variants: With handle clamp and with an opening contour. The cord outlet with handle clamp is particularly easy to open. The cord outlet with opening contour can only be opened with an additional tool (e.g. screwdriver). This means that the electrical installations are protected against improper access in the floor socket. The floor socket is equipped with a double socket, which is pre-mounted in an angled mounting support.

The mounting support, which is arranged at an angle of 54 degrees, also allows the UDHOME2 to be used with a closed hinged cover. Optionally, the floor socket can be expanded with a data technology support for various data connections.

A particular advantage is provided by the design of the new UDHOME2 floor sockets from OBO Bettermann. It fits discreetly into any floor. The specially arranged interior, with its slanting socket supports, means that the new UDHOME2 can accept up to two Modul 45 sockets and two data technology sockets. The angled mounting support of the sockets means that, even when the sockets are used, the cover can be kept closed, even allowing the use of small charging devices, such as those for smartphones. This means that discretion is always the order of the day.

The UDHOME2 is offered in a number of variants: with a cover made of stainless steel or brass, in order to be ready for any demands made on the appearance of the floor. With each variant, the supports in the interior are also made of stainless steel, not only to ensure a high-quality appearance but also to offer a high level of corrosion protection.
