ASG 732 and ASL 733 spacer clips

Slimmed-down product range, increased flexibility

Two new clip types replace the previous spacer clip range from OBO Bettermann: The two new spacer clips, ASG 732 and ASL 733, stand out through a broader choice of materials and surfaces, more use options in more installation environments and an expanded clip clamping range. This has allowed the company to reduce the number of variants whilst maintaining the functionality.

More surfaces for more use options. The new portfolio stands out through the range of materials: Besides being available in the previous galvanised and A4 stainless steel versions, the ASG 732 is now also available with a robust hot-dip galvanised surface and in A2 stainless steel. The clips of type ASL 733 are also machined in galvanised, hot-dip galvanised, A2 and A4 stainless steel and aluminium versions. The more robust surfaces mean that the clips can be used more in exterior areas and with corrosive loads.

Optimised clip shape for a wide-range of requirements With an optimised clip shape, in which the clip base has been constructed so as to be higher, an even greater clamping range can be covered. One clip can now accept a larger range of cable and pipe diameters. This provides a clear installation benefit on the building site: Installation engineers can react just as flexibly to the on-site requirements but need fewer clips.

Small beading, large impact The OBO spacer clips are equipped with a self-locking cover, which can be used universally for both clip types. Worked-in beading ensures that the clip cover cannot come undone ‒ even if the connection screw should become loose due to mechanical influences. The beading not only prevents the cover from coming loose, but acts as additional cable protection before and during routing.

Fastening and mounting made easy The ASG 732 spacer clips have a shaft with a female thread, using which the clips can be screwed tight to bolt ties, angler anchors or sprint screws in the substrate. By contrast, clips of type ASL 733 can be mounted using a slot with standard fastening materials. In the sizes 8‒17 mm, they possess ribs in the base, through which the anchors and screw head can be passed easily. Besides direct wall mounting, the spacer clips can also be fastened on components such as profile rails or cable sections.

On the safe side All the spacer clips of type ASG 732 and ASL 733 in the G, FT, A2 and A4 versions are tested and approved for the maintenance of electrical function of classes E30 to E90 according to DIN 4102 Part 12.
