New Environmental Product Declarations for OBO cable support systems

Environmental awareness is growing – both in society and in the construction sector. This matches an increasing requirement for reliable information on the potential environmental impacts of products. This requirement is fulfilled by the Environmental Product Declarations, or EPD for short. As of late, further cable tray, mesh cable tray, cable ladder, wide-span ladder and mounting systems from the OBO portfolio also carry the Environmental Product Declaration. OBO is proud to have taken another important step on the path to a more sustainable future.

As a standardised, fact-based source of information for the evaluation of product sustainability, EPDs represent a binding, universally valid basis. Whether architects, planners, engineers, clients, facility managers or auditors ‒ any interested party can use the publicly available EPDs to obtain an overview of eco-balance values and any product-related points of environmental impact.
