“Rikard Bencic” in Rijeka

General building information

As part of this project, the old “Rikard Bencic” factory in Rijeka is being transformed into a modern cultural site, housing the city museum, a library and a creative space for children. Being united in the “Rikard Bencic“ building strengthens the cooperation between the three cultural institutions. The freely accessible area of the building is being redesigned for public use. The three institutions will work with the residents of Rijeka to plan the further development of the cultural district, taking changing urban needs and developments into account. The project is scheduled for completion in April 2022.

Why did the customer choose OBO products?

OBO joined this project due to the good collaboration and communication with the planners and installers. The following OBO solutions from the areas of cable support systems, connection and fastening systems as well as underfloor systems were installed here:

The products are installed in the three buildings of the museum, the library and the children’s centre. The buildings are connected by shared installations and cable ducts.
