The type VF FLD 60T S lightning barrier is a surge arrester/fine power protection type 3 to DIN EN 61643-11 for protecting end devices from transient surge voltages.

The protection devices are used for mounting on DIN profile rails near to devices to be protected and are designed for DC and AC systems.
