Silver certificate: Open Datacheck recognises OBO for high data quality

We stand for the highest quality, not only in our products, but also in the associated product data. Because we know that for planners, dealers, tradespeople and installers to work efficiently, they always need access to the latest data. At OBO, we use Open Datacheck for just that. On the online platform, product master data is managed centrally and made available to wholesalers. Marketing and sales documents can also be provided here.

For our consistently high, comprehensive data quality, we have been recognised with the silver manufacturer seal, achieving a score of 91 out of a possible 100 points. This reflects our commitment to excellent data quality, underscoring OBO’s expertise in this area.

Open Datacheck – how OBO product data makes its way to wholesalers

The Open Datacheck platform provides manufacturers such as OBO with a central location where they can upload their product master data, including additional images and documents, for distribution to wholesalers. The data is evaluated based on transparent criteria and then transferred to specialist wholesalers.

The test criteria are no coincidence: ETIM Deutschland developed key figures for assessing product data quality in the electrical sector. Based on this, a group of data experts convened by the VEG (Federal Association of Electrical Wholesalers) developed standardised criteria for data validation via Open Datacheck.
